Join the Cary Park District on Friday, July 1 at Lions Park in Cary to celebrate Independence Day with the multi-genre sounds of “The Hat Guys” playing hits spanning six decades. The band performs from 7:30 – 9:30 pm with fireworks scheduled to start shortly after the band’s performance.

Pack a picnic or purchase food and beverages at the park from one of several food trucks to make your celebration under the stars complete. Food trucks scheduled to be there are Your Sisters Tomato, Brothers’ BBQ and Taco Chicas. There will also be a funnel cake truck.

Admission to the celebration is free. Parking cost $10 for pavement parking and $5 for grass parking. Park opens at 6:30 pm for the evening’s festivities.
