Cary Lake at Rotary Park was opened to the public in September of 2019. The 190-acre site includes a 70-acre lake and over 3 miles of trails. The Village plans to continue to develop the site adding amenities for visitors to enjoy. The Village is working in partnership with the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove to raise funds for the construction of an outdoor pavilion. This is one of the most requested improvements by Cary residents. 

The Village is accepting donations for the construction of the outdoor pavilion. Residents are able to donate to the Village through the Community Foundation for McHenry County. To learn more about the Community Foundation or to donate, visit their website at www.thecfmc.org/donate.
