Metropolitan Mayors Caucus’ Greenest Region Compact
The Village Board recently approved endorsing the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus’ Greenest Region Compact.  The Greenest Region Compact is an initiative of the Metro Mayors Caucus that offers a number of cost-effective sustainability measures that enhance health and safety, reduce the consumption of energy and fossil fuels, conserve water, reduce hazardous and solid waste and air pollution emissions. 

The Greenest Region Compact Workbook and the Greenest Region Strategy Book contain ideas for residents, businesses and local government to implement sustainability measures.
