General Parking Regulations
Crosswalks
Vehicles are prohibited from parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
Expired License Plates
No vehicle may be parked on a Village street with expired license plates or without a front license plate, as required by law.
Fire Hydrants and Fire Lanes
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on Village streets within 15 feet of any fire hydrant or anywhere in a posted fire lane.
Parking Over Sidewalks
Vehicles shall not be parked in driveways which block the sidewalk or any portion of it. Sidewalks must be kept clear of obstacles for pedestrians, strollers, wheelchairs, etc. When a parked vehicle blocks the sidewalk, pedestrians are forced to walk on the grass or in the street, thereby putting themselves in danger of vehicular traffic.

Vehicles are prohibited from parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
Winter Parking Restrictions
From December 1st through March 31st, the Village's winter parking restrictions are in effect. During this time, on-street parking is not allowed between the hours of 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM. It is also unlawful to park on Village streets within 12-hours after a snowfall of three inches or greater.
