Schools Cary residents have access to award-winning school districts. The 2011 State of Illinois report card lists a high-school graduation rate of greater than 94%. School District 155 primarily serves the high school students in Cary and School District 26 is the primary elementary and junior high school district for Cary students. There is a small portion of Cary students who attend School District 47 in Crystal Lake and School District 300 in Algonquin.
Number of Schools
There are three public elementary schools in Cary - Briargate, Three Oaks, and Deerpath (Grades K-5); one junior high school - Cary Junior High School (Grades 6-8); and one high school - Cary-Grove High School (Grades 9-12), which shares its student body with Fox River Grove, Trout Valley and Oakwood Hills. Some Cary residents also attend Prairie Ridge High School.
There is also a catholic school in the community named Saint Peter and Paul (Grades K-8) and Trinity Oaks Christian Academy (Grades PK-8).
