Parkway maintenance and restoration is an integral part of the Public Works Department. Damage from snow plows, water main breaks, street light repairs, etc. can wreak havoc on Village parkways. Should your parkway be disturbed as a result of these or other maintenance activities, the Public Works Department will restore that area of the parkway. Often, total restoration cannot be performed until weather conditions are suitable, typically in the spring. Landscaping the parkway in front of a residence is the responsibility of the homeowner.

The Public Works Department is committed to keeping Village parkways safe and appealing. If you see a parkway hazard, whether it is a low hanging branch, a cracked sidewalk slab or a raised valve box, please report this information to the Public Works Department.
