Village Board Six (6) Village Trustees are elected at large for four (4) year overlapping terms. The three (3) Trustee candidates receiving the highest vote total during each election cycle are elected to office. Elections are held every two (2) years. The Mayor is elected every four (4) years. The Mayor presides at Board meetings and has limited voting rights (generally limited to breaking ties) and veto authority. The Village Board is the legislative body of the Village government. The Board determines all matters of Village policy and approves all Village ordinances and resolutions, in addition to adopting the annual Village budget. Village Trustees
