Home Value Assistance (HVA) Program The Village Board has established a Home Value Assistance (HVA) Program to assist 130 property owners who live immediately adjacent to the Meyer Material Company gravel operation on the west side of Cary. Each of these 130 property owners will be eligible to receive $7,500.00 to pay for home improvement projects, on a reimbursement basis. The HVA Program is being fully funded by $1,000,000.00 that the Village Board secured from Meyer Material as a part of the gravel operation approval process. In total, Meyer Material will be paying the Village $6,250,000.00 over the next ten years for the right to mine gravel on their property. There are 130 property owners eligible to participate in this reimbursement prgram. These property owners are identified by selecting the link on the left side of this page or by clicking here. The Village is currently accepting requests for reimbursement and for proposed projects. The HVA Application/Qualified Improvements Form is the official form to be used for BOTH reimbursement purposes and pre-approval purposes. The Village Board will review all requests for reimbursements prior to any funds being released. Any questions regarding the HVA Program should be directed to the Administration and Development Department.
