A Message from the Chief... To the Residents, Business Owners, and Visitors of Cary, Welcome to the website for the Cary, Illinois Police Department. You will find that soon, many of the pages here will be updated to provide you with timely, accurate and important information about a variety of topics related to law enforcement and public safety. On January 18, 2011, I was sworn in as Chief of Police for the Cary Police Department and I could not be more pleased or proud to become a part of the Cary community. I have spent more than 34 years as a law enforcement officer and, over that time, I have had the good fortune to encounter the highest standards in leadership, professionalism, ethics, and service. I know that the men and women of the Cary Police Department stand with me in a commitment to deliver that level of dedication and assistance to each and every one of you. You can rest assured that this police agency is an organization bound by duty, honor and integrity and that the officers of this department are charged to operate with fairness, truth, tolerance, compassion, and - when required of them - with determination and strength in a mission to protect life and property. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you, to visit our neighborhoods and businesses, and to become a part of the outstanding Village of Cary team.
