Whose responsibility is it to repair the sidewalk in front of my home or business?
It is the responsibility of the Village to ensure reasonably safe conditions on Village sidewalks, bike trails and pedestrian paths. At the request of a citizen or business owner, any sidewalk that poses a tripping hazard (as defined by evaluation criteria) will be repaired for safety purposes. Contact the Public Works Department if you notice a sidewalk that needs attention.Click here for more information.
