Beginning Saturday, August 10th, the Union Pacific will begin the reconstruction of the eastern half of the inbound platform. Due to this reconstruction process, the fencing limits have been extended, as shown in the provided image. Please continue to use the posted detour. Thank you for your patience.

The eastern portion of the inbound Metra platform is temporarily detoured to the crossing at the northwest side in order to begin the next phase in the construction of the new train station. Please use the posted detour and be sure to leave yourself extra time to reach the platform.

Later this month, commuters walking to the inbound Metra platform will be temporarily detoured to the crossing at the northwest side in order to begin the next phase in the construction of the new train station.
Metra and the Village of Cary will update commuters with the exact date of the platform detour as soon as it can be confirmed. Thank you again for your patience during this exciting project!
