Rotary Park  Memorial Tree Program

The Village’s memorial tree program offers residents an opportunity to have a tree planted in their name, pay tribute, or memorialize someone special. Memorial trees will be planted during the Village’s annual tree planting program. These trees will be planted along the trail system of the park. A plaque is also installed next to the tree to commemorate a loved one. For more information, click this brochure and donation form.

Rotary Park Memorial Bench Program

Residents have the opportunity to donate a bench in memory of a loved one or in honor of a person, organization, or cause. The benches will be installed along the Rotary Park trail system. The cost of the bench includes shipping and handling, assembly, pouring of concrete, and engraving of the memorial plaque. For more information, click this brochure and donation form.

Monetary Donations to the Village 

Monetary donations are able to be accepted by the Village upon approval by the Village Board of Trustees. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please contact the Community Foundation of McHenry County. For more information about the foundation, please visit their website at https://thecfmc.org/. We encourage you to contact your tax professional regarding questions about tax deductions.
