Parking in the Village
The Village of Cary offers ample parking for its downtown visitors and commuters. The commuter parking lots are patrolled daily by the Cary Police Department.
Daily Fee Parking
The North and South Commuter lots are available for daily fee parking. These spaces are on a first come, first serve basis. The daily fee is $1.50 Monday through Friday. Parking is free from 11:30AM until midnight Monday through Friday, as well as free all-day Saturday and Sunday.
Daily fee parking users may utilize the available pay stations on site or the Parkmobile app. The pay stations accept cash, credit, and debit. The stations do not give change. The Parkmobile app charges a $0.37 transaction fee in addition the parking fee. Daily fee users must remember their parking space, which will be entered either at the pay station or on
Permit Parking
The Village offers quarterly parking permits for a fee of $95.00 per quarter. To check the availability for a parking permit, please contact the Finance Department at finance@caryillinois.com or call 847.639.0003.
Permits cover the following periods:
- January - March
- April - June
- July - September
- October – December
Permit holders are not guaranteed a space in the permit parking lot; however, they may park in any daily fee space as long as the permit is visible. Permits must always be displayed from the rearview mirror and should face the traffic aisle. Permits are transferable to other vehicles recorded on the permit application.
Handicapped & Motorcycle Parking
Handicapped and motorcycle parkin are exempt from the daily parking fee. No vehicle is authorized to park in a handicapped parking space without handicapped license plates or an authorized handicapped placard. It is also illegal to park in the adjacent access aisle to a handicapped parking space.
Multi-Day Commuter Parking
The south commuter parking lot along Jandus Road and across from True Value Manufacturing allows multi-day parking. The designated parking spaces available are 229 through 238.

Downtown Visitor Parking
A 26-space lot is located north of BMO Harris Bank for downtown parking only. The parking lot has a six-hour limit and is free to visitors utilizing Cary's downtown.
