Schools
Cary residents have access to award-winning school districts. The 2011 State of Illinois report card lists a high-school graduation rate of greater than 94%. For more information on Illinois schools’ report cards, visit the

School District 155 primarily serves the high school students in Cary and
School District 26 is the primary elementary and junior high school district for Cary students. There is a small portion of Cary students who attend
School District 47 in Crystal Lake and
School District 300 in Algonquin.
Number of Schools
There are three public elementary schools in Cary - Briargate, Three Oaks, and Deerpath (Grades K-5); one junior high school - Cary Junior High School (Grades 6-8); and one high school - Cary-Grove High School (Grades 9-12), which shares its student body with Fox River Grove, Trout Valley and Oakwood Hills. Some Cary residents also attend Prairie Ridge High School.
There is also a catholic school in the community named Saint Peter and Paul (Grades K-8) and Trinity Oaks Christian Academy (Grades PK-8).
