Overview
The Village Board of Trustees is the legislative branch of the Village of Cary’s government. The Village Board, along with the Mayor, determine all matters of Village policy to maintain and enhance the health, safety and welfare of the Village of Cary. These policy decisions include, but are not limited to, Village finances including the approval of the annual Village Budget, contract approvals, responses to citizen concerns, establishment of, and variations to, building, zoning, and permit codes, traffic and safety guidelines, and establishment and review of licenses, fees, and other charges.
